Terms of Use
These terms apply to everyone who uses tenetbeefmarket.com, including sellers who post listings. Effective Nov. 1, 2026.
Accounts and Approval
You can browse listings and bull sales and contact sellers without an account. To post, you create an account and sign the Tenet® trademark agreement on the site. You can post right away, but your posts stay hidden from the public until staff approve your account. Callipyge Genetics staff review each account. Approval makes your posts public, and staff can change what an account can post later. If your account isn’t approved, staff email you the reason. You’re responsible for keeping your login details private, for all activity in your account, and for keeping your account details accurate.
The Tenet® Trademark Agreement
You need a signed Tenet® trademark agreement before you use the Tenet® name in any advertising. That includes posting on this site. Every seller signs the agreement on the site when creating an account, including producers who already signed one on paper. You sign by typing your full name and title and checking a box. Callipyge Genetics countersigns when staff approve your account. After that, you can view, download, and print your signed copy on the Trademark Agreement page in your account.
If the agreement is updated, the listings and bull sales you already have on the site stay up until they expire or the sale date passes. You can’t post, renew, or edit until you sign the new version. These terms cover how the site works. The agreement itself sets the rules for using the Tenet® name.
What Can Be Listed
Sellers can post classified listings and bull sales. After approval, staff set which of these an account can post. Posting is free. A classified listing offers Tenet® certified heifers, cows, steers, or bulls for sale. A bull sale is a dated sale, and it can link to the seller’s online sale catalog. Semen isn’t listed on this site. On an approved account, posts go live when you submit them, without staff review. Listings and bull sales must describe real animals that you own or have authority to sell, with accurate details and photos. Callipyge Genetics doesn’t sell cattle, doesn’t set prices, and doesn’t take part in any sale. Sellers set their own prices and handle every sale.
Certified Animals Only
Every animal in a classified listing must be Tenet® certified. When you post a listing, you confirm that each animal in it meets this rule. A bull sale may include animals that aren’t Tenet® certified. If you give a number of Tenet® certified animals for a sale, it must be accurate. Don’t describe any animal as Tenet® certified unless it is. Callipyge Genetics may review any listing or bull sale and remove one that breaks this rule.
Royalties
Posting on this site is free, and the Tenet® trademark agreement costs nothing to sign. Under your agreement, royalties apply when you sell animals as Tenet®. These terms don’t set or restate royalty terms. For those, see your agreement on the Trademark Agreement page in your account. Callipyge Genetics keeps a record of listings and bull sales, with their status and dates, and uses it to match against royalty payments.
Renewals and Expiration
A classified listing runs 30 days. The site emails you a reminder before the end date. You can renew a listing for another 30 days from My Listings. A listing that isn’t renewed comes off the site automatically and shows as expired in your account, where you can still renew it. Mark a listing sold when the animals sell. A bull sale comes off the site automatically after its sale date.
Inquiries
Buyers reach sellers through the inquiry form on each listing and bull sale page. A seller’s email address is never shown on the site, and a phone number shows only when the seller adds one. The buyer’s name, email address, message, and phone number go to the seller, who replies directly. Callipyge Genetics keeps a record of inquiries but doesn’t take part in these conversations and doesn’t vouch for any animal, price, or sale. Don’t use inquiry forms to send spam, advertising, or messages unrelated to the listing or sale.
Removal and Suspension
Callipyge Genetics may remove any listing or bull sale and may suspend or close any account if content is inaccurate, a listing includes animals that aren’t Tenet® certified, the Tenet® trademark is misused, or a seller breaks these terms. While an account is suspended, its listings and bull sales are off the site and the seller can’t post. If the account is restored, listings that haven’t expired and bull sales that haven’t passed go back on the site.
Trademark Use
The Tenet® trademark and related proprietary technology belong to Callipyge Genetics, LLC. Use of the Tenet® trademark is restricted to licensed users. You may not use it in producing, labeling, advertising, or selling cattle or semen unless Callipyge Genetics, LLC, has licensed that use in writing and in advance. For sellers on this site, that license is the Tenet® trademark agreement. It covers live animals. It doesn’t cover beef. Beef licensing is handled by Certified Tenet Beef, LLC, a separate company, at certifiedtenetbeef.com. Posting a Tenet® certified animal on this site doesn’t license you to use the trademark on other products.
Liability
The site and its content are provided as is. Callipyge Genetics isn’t a party to any sale between sellers and buyers and isn’t responsible for the animals, prices, payment, delivery, or other terms they agree on. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and bull sales.
